PTA as exhibitor at the conhIT in Berlin

With around 10,000 visitors from all over the world and 577 exhibitors, the conhIT is the leading trade fair for the digital transformation in the healthcare sector. The end of the trade fair on 19.04.2018 marked the end of three intensive days of professional exchange on this year’s key topics of interoperability, standardisation and electronic patient files.

Many conversations at the PTA GmbH booth clarified the need for modern IT solutions along the entire value chain. Particularly in the health care system, the digital transformation offers the potential for a competitive advantage in terms of implementing economic and patient-centred care – but the high data protection and regulatory requirements must be taken into account. This is relevant for all those involved in the health care system: Be it service providers such as hospitals and care centres, or cost units such as health insurance companies and affiliated associations, but also medical technology manufacturers and providers of medical information systems.

PTA is a problem solver and development partner in the Health IT sector.

It is precisely in these areas that PTA GmbH is a competent partner with many years of experience and the services it offers.

Dr. Thomas Steinmann, Managing Director of PTA Schweiz GmbH and overall responsibility for the life science sector at PTA, reports: “We went to the trade fair with the aim of convincing both the manufacturers of medical information systems or medical technology as well as the cost bearers and service providers with our competence and many years of expertise in supporting health IT projects. The pressure to innovate that is being exerted by the industry is leading to great demand for our specialised IT services, with which we support the development of future-proof and market-driven software products in the healthcare sector. Our wealth of experience in the Health IT sector is unique in this scope and with our flexibility and has been perceived as such. The interest shown during the discussions was clearly noticeable here”.

Dr. Holger Heßke, branch manager in Dresden, IT consultant and experienced project manager in the field of laboratory automation, clinical information systems and electronic patient files adds: “We have repeatedly found that our service portfolio presented particularly addresses the needs of customers. Especially the sustainable support of software products in maintenance and care or the early consideration of regulatory requirements for products relevant to approval convinced our discussion partners to win a reliable and trustworthy service provider in PTA. Starting with the technical requirements engineering, through the technical design and implementation in accordance with international guidelines (MDR, IVDR, FDA) and standards (IHE/HL-7); from the consideration of usability (IEC 62366), the implementation of quality management systems (ISO 13485) to integration and system testing, we provide support along the entire value-added chain in modern healthcare.
