The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the optimisation of the functionality of our Internet presence.

By establishing a connection to Google in this way, Google can determine the website from which your enquiry has been sent and the IP address to which the directions are to be sent.

We use YouTube in our Internet presence. This is a video portal of YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, hereinafter only referred to as “YouTube”.

We use YouTube in conjunction with the Advanced Privacy Mode feature to show you videos. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our Internet presence. Without this “Extended Privacy Mode”, a connection to the YouTube server in the USA is established as soon as you call up one of our Internet pages on which a YouTube video is embedded.

This connection is required in order to display the respective video on our website via your internet browser. In the course of this, YouTube will at least record and process your IP address, the date and time as well as the website you visit. Duration of data storage

When using the contact form, personal data is collected. The contact form itself shows which data this is. These data are stored and used exclusively for the purpose of processing your request or for contacting you and the associated technical administration. The legal basis for the processing of the data is our legitimate interest in answering your request in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 letter f DSGVO. After processing your request, the data will be deleted, unless there is no other legal basis for storage.

Rights of data subjects: How can you intervene in the use of your personal data with us?

One of the main objectives of the DSGVO is to protect and make transparent the data protection rights of EU citizens and individuals within the EU. This means that you have various rights with regard to your data, even if you have already given them to us. These rights are described in more detail below.

If you wish to contact us about these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer (see above). We will endeavour to answer your request as soon as possible, but at the latest within one month. Please note that we may keep a record of our communications in this regard in order to better address any issues you may raise.

Right of access, modification and deletion

You can request confirmation from us at any time as to what information we hold about you and ask us to change, update or delete this information. We may ask you to confirm your identity or ask you to provide further information in response to your request.
If we grant you access to the information we hold about you, we will not charge you for this unless your request is “manifestly unfounded or excessive”. If you request further copies of this information from us, we may charge you a reasonable administration fee where permitted by law.
If we comply with a valid request to delete data, we will take all reasonable or feasible steps to delete the data concerned.
We may refuse your request to the extent permitted by law. If we refuse your request, we will give reasons for doing so in all cases.

Right of objection

On the basis of this right, you may object to the processing of your personal data by us if we do so for one of the following four reasons: (i) our legitimate interests, (ii) to enable us to carry out a task in the public interest or exercise public authority, (iii) to send you direct marketing materials, and (iv) for scientific, historical, statistical or research purposes.
The above categories of “legitimate interests” and “direct mail” are the categories most likely to apply to visitors to our website. If you object to us processing your personal data because we consider it necessary for your legitimate interests, we will stop processing the relevant activities based on your objection, unless

  • we can prove that we have overriding legitimate reasons for processing which outweigh your interests, or
  • we process your data in order to assert, exercise or defend a legal claim

Right to withdraw consent

If you have given us your consent to process your personal data for certain activities, you can revoke this consent at any time. We will cease the activity to which you have previously consented unless we believe there is no alternative reason that justifies further processing of your data by us for this purpose. Should this be the case, we will inform you.

Right to restrict processing

Under certain circumstances, you may request that we restrict the processing of your personal data. This means that we will only store your data in the future and cannot carry out any further processing activities until: (i) any of the conditions set out below have been removed, (ii) you give your consent, or (iii) further processing is necessary to assert, exercise or defend legal claims, to protect the rights of others or if it is necessary for the legitimate EU or national public interest.
You may request that we limit the processing of your personal data in the following circumstances:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of the personal data we process about you. In this case, we will restrict the processing of your personal data by us until the accuracy of the data has been verified.
  • If you object to the processing of your personal data by us in the sense of our legitimate interests. In this case, you may request that the data be restricted while we review our reasons for processing your personal data.
  • If the processing of your data by us is unlawful, but you prefer to limit the processing by us rather than having the data deleted
  • When there is no longer a need for us to process your personal data, but you need the data to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

Right to data transferability

If you so wish, you are entitled to transfer your data from one person responsible to another. In effect, this means that you can transfer your data at PTA to another person in charge. For this purpose, we provide you with the data in a standard machine-readable format. Alternatively, we can transfer the data directly for you if you provide us with the necessary information. The right to data transfer applies to personal data that we process automatically (i.e. without human intervention), to personal data that you have provided us with and to personal data that we process on the basis of your consent or for the purpose of fulfilling a contract.

Right of appeal to a supervisory authority

They have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. Details of how to contact them can be found here.
