A major German energy supplier is reorganizing its market access after a restructuring and is introducing Allegro as its new ETRM system. PTA provides support to the customer for critical functional issues, such as back-office processes, reporting and ECMS connection for business analysis. Further support is provided in project management, in quality control and in change management.
The ETRM system is provided on the basis of the Microsoft Azure Cloud environment. This results in a series of new challenges for the project, such as connectivity problems like connecting to an e-mail server. In addition to specifying various work packages for the back-office projects and reporting, the customer is provided with support in solving these issues.
The ETRM system (Energy Trading and Risk Management) is intended to support portfolio management in three pilot regions, and to enable access to the energy market on the purchasing side. To achieve this, the ETRM system is connected via interface to a variety of systems at the central and regional level.
