The MaKo service is a customer-owned development for the creation of Edifact MSCONS messages with contained metered values or energy quantities for dispatch in the German electricity market in the role of metering point operator. The customer also has the role of supplier and needs the metering data in his energy information system. The customer's own and third-party data are also made available to the system.
For the full representation of complex plant structures, it is necessary that not only the customer's own metering devices, but also metering devices from other metering point operators (MSOs), which are directly related to the customer processes, are kept in the systems. The customer receives the metering data from these third-party devices via Edifact MSCONS messages. The authorization check is performed in the central master data application and then the messages are forwarded to the energy data management system (EDM). From there, the data is transferred to the energy information system using the MaKo service. The master data application and the MaKo service are developed with .NET code and are based on SQL databases.
In detail, the following subtasks will be conceptualized and partially implemented in this project: supply of the energy information system with meter reading data from external MCBs, supply of the energy information system with energy quantities from external MCBs, supply of the energy information system with load profile data from external MCBs, definition of an interface between the MaKo service and the energy data management system EDM, adaptation of the supply interface between the MaKo service and the energy information system, and creation of a separate queue for supplying the energy information system with relevant market data from external MCBs. After completion, a handover to the customer's internal IT department and user training will take place.
