Using SAP Analytics Cloud planning applications for the HR department of a retail company are developed. This enables HR controlling to control and evaluate personnel planning for the following year within the branches. All implementation activities are carried out by PTA.
A planning environment is set up based on a plan model in the SAP Analytics Cloud. Data is supplied via flat files with historical data. Data actions with scripting are used to generate various planning figures. Data planning takes place both, bottom-up and top-down.
HR controlling is enabled to record and compare alternative versions of targets for personnel planning. The client is able to plan staff for the following year decentrally in the branches via a cloud environment. According to an algorithm based on data from past planning periods, target values are available for the planners in the branches, selected by HR Controlling from alternative versions.
