Short description:

Designing and developing a program for converting working hours recording and holiday planning from Excel to Access 2000, as well as expanding the functions for employee master data management.


The application is intended to replace the existing procedure of managing holiday planning and working hours recording in MS Excel. Access 2000 is to be used as the user interface, with an MS SQL server 2000 database in the background. The aim is to implement the program as a standalone application with a separate database.

Technical description:

The application is used to record and maintain employee master data, as well as to record or plan working hours, holidays, flexitime, days off due to illness etc., including the associated evaluations. The legal and specific company requirements are taken into account. Plausibility checks during recording and realtime calculations reduce human labor.
