Development of a mobile field service solution with connection to the intranet field service information system on PDA devices based on WindowsCE.NET. The data and users are managed in the Oracle Mobile Server.
The idea is to enable field sales employees using a mobile solution based on PDA devices (PDA = Personal Digital Assistant) to access the customer master data and also to enter sales call results (e.g. shelf maintenance, planning future customer visits, entry of orders) on-site. A synchronization mechanism is used to link the mobile offline system to the existing IT environment.
Information and control options in marketing logistics and field sales are implemented by providing important visit, customer, and article data to field sales workers on-site with the customer.
