In the case of a pension insurance institution, the medical service is subjected to an organisational examination which analyzes the workflows in medical examination centres, clinics, pension and rehabilitation examination services as well as the associated administrative offices and draws up proposals for improving the processes.
The analysis is based on an analysis carried out by PTA GmbH at the end of 1994, which is updated. Based on the results of the study, proposals for optimizing the processes are developed in a follow-up project.
The focus is on medical procedures and cooperation with the associated administrations. This involves the examination of pension and rehab applications, which are carried out in medical examination centres, in a clinic and in examination departments. Suggestions for process optimization are also developed using IT.
