Further development of a system for maintaining customer master data in the mainframe environment. The application enables a cross-division view of the customer and direct access to the division dialogs.
In addition to examining the individual customer, reference relationships between partners are mapped. The "bank data" area plays an important role in the context of master data maintenance. Here, bank data and all the related customer data and contractual data is updated and maintained in a complex procedure. In parallel to this, all partner programs are analyzed and checked for Y2K compatibility and modified, if necessary.
All the customer master and division data forms the basis for multi-layered evaluations for the area of sales and distribution/controlling. In order to automate the relevant procedures, the necessary programs and associated jobs are generated.
