A tool is being developed to support staff planning for customer projects. Up until now, planning is based on Excel files. The application has a web frontend which validates the entered data and stores it centrally in a database. In future, it should be possible to create several plan versions for one period. The data model as well as the basic architecture will be developed on the basis of specifications. Implementation will follow accordingly.
The TORF team in Munich would like to carry out personnel and project planning via a web application in the future. The customer and employee data will be entered in the user interface and persisted in a local database (postgres) via a RESTful Web Service.
