Short description:

Since 2000, a bookstore has used an MS Access application to manage purchasing statistics for the special field of toy products. Operation of this application by multiple users and the changeover required at the turn of the year are causing problems for the management, so PTA was asked to provide support/further development.


The recorded data is used to generate various evaluations/reports that are mainly used to calculate mark-ups.

Technical description:

A statistical system is used for branches of the bookstore; it can determine the mark-up for individual suppliers or product groups and compare them in annual comparisons. (Data basis: quantity of goods, product group, VAT, purchasing and sales prices.)
