The application is used to control sales data for multiple branches. Turnover and the number of customer purchases are recorded each month and turned into a monthly average in a rolling average method. In addition to being displayed in tables, the sales trends are shown graphically in MS Excel.
The application is based on multiple Excel spreadsheets. These spreadsheets are to be replaced with an MS Access database application (based on the PTA framework). The aim is to improve the application's stability and maintainability. Statistics and graphs are initially displayed in MS Access, but they can also continue to be exported as Excel spreadsheets.
