Short description:

Development of new software for stockkeeping and inventory on a mobile manual scanner. The scanner communicates with the warehouse management system from Baan ERP.

Supplement:

A Falcon 345 type scanner from PSC is used. The scanner is used to scan additional bar codes and record other information about the article. The data is exchanged via interfaces with Baan ERP.

Technical description:

The procedures in a job producer's warehouse are to be rationalized by the use of mobile scanners. In addition to using scanners for stocktaking, picking is also to be supported.
