Short description:

A service provider in the real estate industry is introducing several SharePoint solutions for internal document management processes. Therefore, different 3rd party provided solutions must be tested, documented in user manuals and supplied with training material. PTA is also providing online trainings, that will be used as base for advanced trainings and as feedback source to the ongoing development. Additionally, PTA carries out first level support on the trained solutions to all internal stakeholders.


Scope of the offered trainings is first hand basic technical understanding for the newly introduced SharePoint solutions. The trainings contain 'SharePoint-Basics' as well as advanced solution specific content. All trainings are held remote and some are recorded, in order to establish a baseline training material to the customer's internal training process. PTA is responsible for all aspects of the training, including organization, preparation, execution and postprocessing. Additionally, the trainings are accompanied with user manuals and user acceptance tests. The results and feedback of the activities are used as input to the ongoing development within the requirement management process. Other feedback will be directly resolved by PTA through customizing and configuration of the SharePoint solutions.

Technical description:

The basic usage of the SharePoint solutions is document management. Contracts and Insurance documents are managed based on the organisational structure of the customer. Beside these organisational scope, several project-based documentation must be managed and traced. This includes construction projects, sponsoring contracts, asset and fleet management documentation as well as different internal communications. Beside the document management a separate solution is introduced for the billing workflow.
