Installation and configuration of a SAP Content Server for outsourcing documents to SAP documents. Until now, a document management system from another provider has been used, which is to be replaced. In preparation for moving the documents, an SAP Content Server is installed.
In addition to the installation of the SAP Content Server, the Linux operating system is prepared for the SAP system. A SAP MaxDB is installed and configured as the database. This includes a backup strategy with configuration in addition to the basic installation.
The customer currently stores its documents in an Easy Archive. The maintenance contract expires on 01.04.2023. The customer does not want to extend it and has chosen the SAP Content Server as an alternative. Following the installation, the documents are migrated.
