The customer operates as a public transport association. The customer sells the product KombiTicket for its affiliated transport companies and local public transport organisations. Before the start of the project, the customer used a Microsoft Access database to manage new KombiTicket customers as well as existing KombiTicket customers. PTA GmbH supports the customer in the as-is analysis of the existing sales process, the modelling of the target process by means of BPMN diagrams in Microsoft Visio, the recording of requirements by means of user stories (requirements management) as well as the implementation of the JobTicket sales process in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales. In addition, the connection of third-party systems is carried out using REST APIs.
The target process defined in the requirements analysis is implemented in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales using business process flows. The standard sales opportunity entity and the custom entities KombiTicket and KombiTicketPosition are used for this purpose. Various email templates are provided as part of the process to standardise and automate email communication. Initial enquiries via email can be qualified using the Outlook App in CRM. Office 365/Exchange Online mailboxes are integrated for communication. It is possible to record different price constellations and any annual price increases. A connection to the variety key system is made via REST API Konsumption. New KombiTickets can be transferred, new variety keys can be created and price changes can be recorded.
The customer operates as a public transport association. The customer distributes the KombiTicket product for its affiliated transport companies and local public transport organisations. Companies or organisations are able to provide KombiTickets for their end customers in order to use public transport for specific events. The prerequisite is an agreement with the transport association as well as a residence in the area of the association. Due to the strong demand for JobTickets, the client faces the challenge of standardising its processes. Furthermore, the initiations with the interested parties are to be mapped more transparently so that sales controlling becomes possible. The cloud-based CRM system Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales is to be used for this purpose.
