The customer operates as a public transport association. The customer sells the JobTicket product for its affiliated transport companies and local public transport organisations. Before the start of the project, the customer used a Microsoft Access database to manage new JobTicket customers as well as existing JobTicket customers. PTA GmbH supports the customer in the as-is analysis of the existing sales process, the modelling of the target process by means of BPMN diagrams in Microsoft Visio, the recording of requirements by means of user stories (requirements management) as well as the implementation of the JobTicket sales process in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales. In addition, the connection of third-party systems is carried out using REST APIs.
The target process defined in the requirements analysis is implemented in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales using business process flows. The standard sales opportunity entity and the custom entities JobTicket and JobTicketPosition are used for this purpose. Approximately 40 email templates are provided as part of the process to standardise and automate email communication. Initial email requests can be qualified using Outlook App in CRM. Office 365/Exchange Online mailboxes are integrated for communication. Various automations such as data transfers from the company entity to the sales opportunity and further to the JobTicket entity are implemented. Annual price increases can be recorded automatically. A connection to the variety key system is implemented via REST API Konsumption. New JobTickets can be transferred, new variety keys can be generated and price changes can be recorded.
The customer operates as a public transport association. The customer distributes the JobTicket product for its affiliated transport companies and local public transport organisations. Companies or organisations are able to provide JobTickets for their employees to use public transport. The prerequisite is an agreement with the transport association as well as a minimum number of 51 employees and a residence in the area of the association. Different product variants are offered, depending on which tariff areas are used and whether a transport system is desired. Due to the strong demand for JobTickets, the client faces the challenge of standardising its processes. Furthermore, the initiations with the interested parties are to be mapped more transparently so that sales controlling becomes possible. The cloud-based CRM system Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales is to be used for this purpose.
