Tasks in the Endur environment include operational tasks such as coordinating and planning database migration of Oracle 9 to Oracle 10. Functionally-oriented topics are, for example, implementation of EEX MidDec emissions futures, reflection of renewable certificates and the implementation of weekly EEX power future products in Endur. Other activities are the design of monitoring of physical limits in Endur, functional analysis of the options for calculating a credit value at risk, consulting support for problems with the value at risk composition in Endur and support for an Endur connection with externally calculated gas storage evaluations.
Supplement
Implementation of trade products includes all required steps, such as curve composition, price delivery, display in Endur transactions, processing and data warehouse export. The Endur risk engine should be used for limits in order to monitor the physical position based on user-defined key figures. The options for calculating a credit value at risk should only be estimated at first. The expected high computing workload will be a challenge.
Subject description
Endur should be able to process a series of new trade products. This includes the MidDec emissions futures recently implemented in the EEX that are intended to expand/replace existing EarlyDec products. It must be possible for Endur to process renewable certificates (RECs) (much like emission certificates). Some of its composition may need to be inspected and approved by the authorities. The implementation of weekly EEX power future products in Endur adds to the previous monthly, quarterly and annual products.
