Brief description
Generation, validation and execution of test cases, concerning a project in the field of laboratory environments in the pharmaceutical industry. Verification and validation of recently implemented novel functionalities and of their resolved software errors. Execution of both, manual and automatic unit-, integration-, system-, regression- and performance-tests.

he following test cases have been established: Unit tests, integration tests, regression tests, system test. Form of execution: manual tests, automatic tests. Number of test cases per release: ca. 650.
Subject description
In general, this software testing pursues three objectives: 1)The test cases are intended to verify and validate the compliance of the software to its corresponding specified requirements and therefore ensure that the scope and quality of the implemented functionality is compliant. 2)Findings, which result from a test case, are used to detect and eliminate software errors. 3)Tests during the software development intend to ensure that the software is brought to service error-free.
