Preliminary study for developing an online shop

Brief description
The company would like to augment its online presence in the retail segment; setting up an online shop is part of this strategy. A basis for decision-making is created to support the customer in selecting software for the shop.
Supplement
Two documents are created within the scope of this preliminary study: first, a collection and evaluation of the technical requirements from the various departments; second, a brief description and evaluation of various software solutions for the online shop, with a focus on open source solutions. These documents are to aid in the decision-making process and serve as a basis for the later general concept (requirements specifications).
Subject description
In particular, including the online shop in merchandise management business processes plays a role in determining the functional and technical requirements. From a technical perspective, integration into the existing IT landscape is the most important factor.
