The customer would like to replace a report in SAC that is based on a file transfer in a batch run with an OData service for reporting in PowerBI. The data is retrieved from various sources and aggregated.
Supplement
The data is made available via a virtual data model based on CDS views. The OData service is created via service generation and the generated functions are then enriched with further logic.
Subject description
The use of an OData service to supply Power BI now makes it possible for the specialist departments to obtain up-to-date data from the SAP ERP system at any time.
