Brief description
Support for system structuring and setting up (customizing) SAP Solution Manager basic functions for the service desk, project management and test management. Consulting project managers throughout the project and support for the upgrade project participants during structuring of the project-related and functional requirements in the SAP Solution Manager and when using the relevant functions.
Supplement
In order to provide technical system support for the upcoming ERP release upgrade, an SAP Solution Manager system is to be installed and configured. After the operator of the SAP systems provides the hardware, installs the SAP Solution Manager system and defines the SAP system landscape within the Solution Manager, the system is configured for the project management functions and the test workbench functions, including the service desk.
Subject description
The SAP Solution Manager is used as a comprehensive tool for supporting the upgrade project and subsequent operation. It is set up in such a way that it can be used to document the processes supported by the SAP system, as well as to prepare and carry out the testing needed for the upgrade. Additionally, project and test management are supported. Furthermore, Change Request Management is implemented during the course of the project. Additionally workbench and customizing transports are controlled via SolMan especially durch the golive process.
