Support for tasks resulting from the processing of contracts for “integrated care”. This includes in particular the new and further development of the IT infrastructure required for the processes of master data maintenance and invoicing. The term “integrated care” refers to a form of medical care in the German health system, which leads to increased networking of general practitioners, specialists, hospitals etc.
Supplement
The IT infrastructure includes a multiplicity of individual software developments that map processes from the area of contract fulfillment, which are continually changing as a result of dynamic requirements. Among other things, a web service based on ASP.NET is used by the producers of medical practice software for the invoicing of medical services. Furthermore, another tool based on ASP.NET makes all relevant information about registrations and invoices available to the employees and to external participants (customer hotline, health insurance company).
Subject description
The Law on Modernizing Compulsory Health Insurance (2004) enables service providers, e.g. general practitioners, and health insurance companies, for the first time, to conclude contracts for integrated health care without obtaining approval from the associations of health insurance physicians. As a result, the preparation and fulfillment of contracts and the provision of the infrastructure required by the contracting parties, e.g. in the course of registrations or termination of the services provided, can be coordinated by service providers other than the associations of health insurance physicians.
