The aim of the project is to introduce a new process and system landscape for the B2C sales department of an energy supplier. Various standard components are being used. PTA is providing significant support for the test management sub-project in the roles of test manager and test analyst.

The requirements are implemented in agile, cross-functional teams using user stories. PTA supports the various teams during the functional tests of the user stories and organizes and manages the cross-team test phases. The project has a duration of several years and comprises various development stages, the implementation of an MVP and various migration batches. A particular challenge here is the necessary parallel operation of the old and new B2C platform.
Subject description
Several goals are associated with the introduction of the new B2C platform. These include the implementation of a consistent standardization approach, the introduction of an external operating model including the implementation of all necessary regulatory requirements and improved digitalization. Furthermore, intelligent energy data management is to be introduced. This forms the basis for dynamic products, allowing price market opportunities to be exploited and the digital first approach to be put into practice.
