The tasks include: coordinating and active involvement in the upgrade activities and necessary infrastructure measures; planning milestones; consulting the persons responsible for functional areas; designing and prioritizing tests; and coordinating with the Endur manufacturer in the event of problems and any errors discovered.

In addition to the organizational tasks, numerous functional and regression tests are to be carried out during the upgrade. Initially, the minimum necessary code basis is to be made suitable for Endur 8 and Endur 7. Software deliveries from OpenLink are to be coordinated with database copies and repeated upgrades and tests. In advance of going live the activities have to be planned and coordinated. The end users will decide the change to the new system during supported parallel tests.
Subject description
The functional reasons for the migration include: support is no longer provided for the old Endur 7 version; the customer wishes to evaluate portfolios of any size, as Endur 7 is limited in this areas; the customer wishes to be able to map gas prices exactly using hourly shapings; and the customers wishes to use OpenJVS to officially expand Endur with Java instead of AVS, thereby significantly improving the ease of maintenance for the code basis.
