Quality is a decisive factor in the added value and success of your company

A special challenge in the digital change is to successfully deliver software or products in general at high speed and at the same time high quality.

For this purpose, a holistic quality assurance must be implemented in the organisation and in the projects as well as in the product developments. This includes, among other things, the expertise of the employees as well as suitable and lived methods and processes including their continuous monitoring and improvement. Tool support for the various quality assurance measures is also of particular importance here.

Quality is more than just compliance with guidelines and standards – it plays a decisive role in the value creation and success of your company.

We are an interdisciplinary team that combines enthusiasm for quality assurance with the experience gained from a multitude of projects. Use our many years of expertise to find pragmatic and correct solutions for your individual challenges.

Our competences

Planning: The various quality assurance activities must be carefully planned and controlled. Clearly defined key figures are the basis for control. Suitable processes must be used for this purpose, and in larger projects the use of suitable tools is also necessary.

Monitoring: The key figures defined in the planning must be continuously recorded and evaluated. In the event of deviations from the target status, measures may have to be initiated and corrections made to the planning.

Optimisation: The processes used must be continuously “put to the test” and adjusted if necessary. The aim is a continuous improvement of activities and processes.

Standards and templates: Templates for important project artefacts as well as checklists (e.g. for reviews as well as test case creation and implementation) are an important support for quality assurance measures. They consolidate experience knowledge for the structured, efficient and reproducible implementation of these measures. Standards define “recognised rules of technology” and promote the uniformity of products and processes. Depending on the industry and product, different standards must be observed during project implementation.

Test automation: Test automation helps to significantly improve the development and life cycle of a software solution. As release cycles become shorter and test efforts greater, automated tests are often more efficient than manual tests – they are faster and more reliable, can be repeated at any time and bugs and anomalies can be identified promptly.

Tool support: For the development, testing and operation of software, a variety of tools are used to support and document the associated activities. The selection, introduction and support of a suitable tool is of great importance for the efficiency and quality of the development and test process as well as the operation of software.

Analysis and testing: A variety of static procedures (e.g. reviews) as well as dynamic procedures (black box and white box) can be used for this purpose. These have to be selected and used in a project-specific manner, which requires in-depth expertise in the respective procedures.

Staff expertise: Different roles with very different qualification profiles are required for the different quality assurance measures and tasks. The respective employees must be trained and further educated by means of suitable measures. Training courses are of course an important option here; these should be supplemented by certification (e.g. according to ISQTB).
