Plant and mechanical engineering

Plant and mechanical engineering

SAP R/3 and SAP ERP 6.0 have been widely used in the German manufacturing industry for years. Especially the processes of serial production are optimally supported. Only in the individual production and in plant engineering and construction is the functionality of the SAP modules not sufficient to support the processing of orders with the customers throughout. In these complex use cases, PTA has expanded the SAP standard with efficient solutions that meet the requirements in the German-speaking countries in particular. These include, for example, the fulfilment of standards such as DATANORM interfaces for material master data or the mapping of comprehensive service specifications in the sales process from quotation processing to order settlement.

Retail

Retail

The Digital Revolution is having a lasting and profound impact on trade. In addition to the increasing dovetailing of online and offline offerings (omnichannel), a holistic view of and approach to customers (CRM) and efficient logistics and sales processes are becoming a decisive competitive advantage. With its product portfolio, SAP supports this change not only with the Business Suite, but also with a series of third-party applications (HYBRIS, CAR, Fiori Apps), which must be integrated sensibly into the IT system landscape. The PTA supports you in this with its many years of IT and industry know-how as well as its in-depth knowledge of the industry solutions SAP Retail and SAP CAR.

Pharmaceuticals and diagnostics

Pharmaceuticals and diagnostics

International groups in the pharmaceuticals and diagnostics industry took advantage of the benefits of SAP systems at an early stage to integrate business processes and application systems globally in their national subsidiaries. PTA was able to participate in the implementation and optimisation of these processes due to its profound process know-how and comprehensive knowledge of interface technologies in the SAP environment. Additional tools were created in SAP ERP, such as cockpits to control and monitor these complex processes, which can also be used efficiently in other industries.

Chemistry

Chemistry

Automotive

Automotive

In the automotive industry, PTA GmbH supports manufacturers and suppliers not only in the use and further development of the Industrial Solution Automotive, but especially in reporting using SAP BI and Business Objects. Globally active companies consolidate their sales data in large data warehouses to support sales processes with current valid data. The use of SAP HANA provides the opportunity to meet the high requirements in these areas. In addition, the increasing digitalisation (Industry 4.0) can be increasingly promoted by the new SAP products both in the ERP environment and in the processing of large amounts of data.
