Cooperation as the key to success

Due to the increased technical requirements in organisational and IT projects, we are increasingly involved in working and user groups, forums and initiatives for the industries and topics we support.

Organisation and IT projects are often so extensive and complex that cooperation between several partners is necessary. In addition to our willingness to cooperate constructively in projects with other service providers selected by our customers, we have a network of partner companies that can support us with additional consultants and experts if required.

Furthermore, cooperation with manufacturers of development and application systems is important to us, as we offer our customers a wide range of experience and know-how and also want to react promptly to current developments of architectures and tools. Partnerships with the most important manufacturers ensure that we have access to current versions or beta versions and improved information channels for clarifying questions or technical problems.

Our competence network

PTA GmbH is an SAP Services Partner in the PartnerEdge programme. PTA was already an implementation partner for SAP R/3 in the 1990s and since then has been allowed to operate test and demo systems of the current SAP R/3, SAP ERP and SAP Business Suite versions (including SAP BW / BI).

Gekkobrain’s software solutions help SAP customers save up to 25% on compute and storage and improve performance by optimizing the custom programs. Gekkobrain minimizes the manual work of custom code migration to S/4HANA by up to 80%. In the beginning of 2021 PTA and Gekkobrain conclude a cooperation to help customers in DACH region in several industries.

Since 2013 the PTA has been a member of the German-speaking SAP User Group e.V. and can follow the current, detailed information about the cooperation of the user companies with SAP and the resulting developments and align its strategy accordingly.

With the integration of DATIS IT-Services GmbH into the PTA Group, the business areas of computer centre operation and development of standard software for the logistics industry were taken over by a service provider with many years of experience in this field. This enables us to offer our customers managed hosting (especially for SAP systems) and cloud services both in development and productive operation.

For more than two decades, PTA has been working with the Westernacher Group to support customers across the breadth of SAP applications as well as nationally. Westernacher Consulting is active worldwide and has regionally based consultants in Europe, Asia and America.

As a recognised system integrator in the area of SAP-based purchasing, 2bits GmbH has been supporting PTA GmbH for many years in customer projects in which the supplier-side modules of the SAP Business Suite (e.g. SRM, SLC, SUS) are used.

PTA has been working with BEST Solution for many years to provide reliable support for customers and projects in the area of human resources management. BEST Solution works as a competent consulting and service partner in the environment of the world’s leading personnel management system SAP HCM (Human Capital Management).

With the Business Integration Server (BIS), Seeburger offers one of the most important EAI platforms in the SAP environment. The PTA Group supports customers both on site and through its sister company DATIS IT-Services with operations. In addition, Seeburger and PTA work together in the energy industry on REMIT requirements.

The Logistics Initiative Hamburg is a cluster initiative for the logistics and logistics-related industry based in the Hamburg metropolitan region. The initiative was founded in 2006 as a public-private partnership and is supported by the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and companies and institutions that have joined forces in Logistik-Initiative Hamburg e. V. Our Hamburg office has been involved in these activities since 2010.
