PTA and Simplifai enter into strategic partnership for agent-based AI in the insurance industry

PTA IT-Beratung and the Norwegian AI partner Simplifai are entering into a strategic development and implementation partnership. The aim of the collaboration is to support insurance companies in Germany in the digitalization of their business processes through the use of agent-based AI – efficiently, practically and sustainably.

As part of the partnership, Simplifai is contributing its mature technology and expertise in the field of agent-based AI. PTA complements this with in-depth market and industry knowledge as well as many years of experience from customer projects in the German insurance environment. The result is a powerful combination of technological innovation and practice-oriented implementation expertise.

“At Simplifai, we are convinced that agent-based AI is the game changer that insurers need – automation that works with human judgment, not against it. We look forward to partnering with PTA, whose expertise and deep systems knowledge will help us bring this added value to Germany,” says Niels Zijderveld, Chief Revenue Officer at Simplifai.

Björn Huppertz, Head of Financial Services at PTA IT-Beratung, also sees great potential in the collaboration: “In Simplifai, we have found a partner that does not rely on short-term trends, but has been delivering sustainable, tangible innovations since 2017. The combination of agent-based AI and our understanding of the German banking and insurance market opens up new opportunities for our customers to make processes smarter and integrate AI use cases directly into our customers’ value chain. Together with Simplifai, we are bringing agent-based AI into productive use and have found a partner that is 100% focused on our industry.”

PTA chose Simplifai because the company offers a specialized, tangible solution that clearly stands out from the short-term AI hype. Simplifai stands for sustainable innovation and develops software that can be experienced in the everyday lives of insurers – an approach that fits in perfectly with PTA’s philosophy.

In the coming months, both companies plan to implement their first joint customer projects, establish a joint market presence and, in the future, offer an entry-level package consisting of front-end components and Simplifai technology.
