From one-off production to major international projects

PTA GmbH has been involved in the development of IT solutions in systems and mechanical engineering since its beginnings. Applications and processes are developed and supported, particularly in individual production and for handling projects in large-scale systems construction. In addition to the support and further development of standard systems selected and used by our customers, interfaces are provided between the various software products and to the systems of partners. Special mention should be made of the support for collaboration with suppliers and subcontractors in the context of major international projects, e.g. in power systems construction.

Use Cases

All technical components (energy supplier to consumer) are digitally recorded with their necessary characteristics. The module enables the user to digitally manage, inventory and schedule technical equipment. It also provides support when carrying out the necessary electrical tests during commissioning and maintenance.

Projects and the associated power distribution grids can be created and managed. Using a “Graphical Editor”, the electricity distribution grids can also be graphically planned, created and simulated under the calculated electricity load distribution and utilization. The respective and general system statuses are monitored via an IoT connection. At the same time, the data is collected and analyzed. The knowledge gained is constantly being incorporated into the planning and operation of electricity distribution grids, which enables process efficiency to be increased and costs to be saved.

Development of a mobile app that can visually identify products in different ways. After successful identification, component features from the CRM backend are displayed in the live screen. The measured values from the device sensors are displayed in real time via an IoT connection. Direct access to the graphical representation of the network in the CRM user front end is possible via a link.

Creation of a central cloud enterprise platform for decentralized, self-sufficient energy supply solutions. This serves to digitalize business processes, manage (end) customers’ energy systems and act as a control center for all important energy management processes. All processes are mapped, from business initiation (acquisition of a lead) to order processing (installation of the system) and system support with billing. By connecting the IoT device data via a cloud gateway, the information is used to trigger automatically generated business processes in the service.
