“Mission SoSe 25 – Seeheim space station”
From July 4 to 6, 2025, it was that time again: PTA Group employees gathered at the Lufthansa Seeheim conference hotel for the traditional summer seminar – this year under the motto “Mission SoSe 25 – Space Station Seeheim”. The event not only offered a platform for exciting professional insights, but also plenty of room for personal exchange, new impulses and shared experiences – all in the spirit of a lively and networked corporate culture.
Strategy, outlook and new perspectives
Friday kicked off with a strategic overview from the management. Jana Fischer, Matthias Wossidlo, Dr. Tim Walleyo and Dennis Haßlöcher took a joint look at the current situation of the PTA Group and outlined key topics for the coming months.
After an interactive mood survey and discussions on collective perception, the focus turned to in-depth topics: presentations on the SAP Business Technology Platform, the migration of complex access applications to modern .NET architectures and the role of human perception in UX design offered insights into PTA’s project and technology world. A look into the future was not neglected either: in a playful format, teams from the various specialist departments of PTA IT Consulting and DATIS IT Services developed their visions for the coming months.
Strengthening impulses – shaping together
Friday afternoon was all about dialog and collaboration: in small groups and across departmental boundaries, participants exchanged experiences, ideas and future perspectives. The open exchange provided space to get to know different perspectives, learn from each other and develop joint approaches. A final reflection rounded off the intensive seminar day and sharpened the common understanding of the tasks ahead.
The culinary finale of the first day was the joint dinner and the subsequent get-together at the bar – including a dance floor for all those who still had energy for the orbit.
SoSe Talk, team spirit and BBQ under the stars
Saturday began with a relaxed quiz and a status report from the Operations Board. Afterwards, there was room for free organization in the specialist departments – for thematic focuses, individual reflection or informal exchange.
In the “SoSe Talk”, employees and managers reflected together on the past few days: What insights will we take away with us? Which ideas will take flight? The moderated format provided an inspiring framework for the many impulses and discussions.
A special highlight followed in the afternoon: the team event “Space Escape Game”, which required cooperation, creativity and communication – in an interstellar mission, of course. To round things off, the balmy summer evening invited guests to enjoy champagne, conversation and a BBQ under the stars.
