Exchange, AI in Practice, and Team Spirit
From June 12 to 14, 2026, the PTA group gathered at the Lufthansa Conference Hotel in Seeheim-Jugenheim for this year’s summer seminar. For two days, the focus was on professional development, collaborative work, and exchanging ideas across departments and locations.
AI in Everyday Project Work: From Concept to Practice
The main focus of Friday’s program was the topic of artificial intelligence in customer projects. Following a strategic overview by management, the first presentation provided insights into how AI is already being used in PTA’s client projects, including in the area of spec-driven development: the approach of conducting AI-supported software development based on precise specifications rather than vague prompts. The topic sparked lively discussions and demonstrates just how firmly AI methodologies have now become established in day-to-day project work.
Another keynote presentation laid the methodological foundation for the subsequent workshop: How can AI use cases be systematically identified at the client’s site? Working in small groups, the participants then developed their own use cases based on their day-to-day project work. The results were discussed and further explored in an open plenary session.

Workshops, open dialogue, and an evening under the stars
On Saturday morning, the individual departments used a dedicated workshop block to engage in internal discussions and focus on specific topics. In the open plenary session that followed, participants compiled thoughts, questions, and ideas from the sessions.
In the afternoon, everyone went their separate ways in a pleasant manner: Those seeking nature set off on a herb walk or participated in the outdoor workshop, working with what the forest had to offer. The others either explored the world of roasts and aromas during a coffee tasting or immersed themselves in the world of improvisational theater at Impro4Business. To wrap things up, everyone gathered again for a champagne reception in the lobby and rounded out the evening with good conversation and an outdoor BBQ.
