Abstract, file-based DARE interface
Brief description
In connection with limited marketing and Redispatch 2.0, information must be exchanged between the EEG billing system used by a transmission system operator and the 'DA/RE' data platform. As part of the project, the technical prerequisites for this data exchange will be established, and two specific implementations will be carried out.

Due to the increasing feed-in of renewable energy, power grids are subject to significant fluctuations. For this reason, the TSO launched the 'DA/RE-The Grid Security Initiative' project, which is available to grid operators throughout Germany. On a digital platform, measures to stabilize the grid and eliminate congestion are coordinated cost-effectively across all grid levels through the use of decentralized flexibility. DA/RE stands for Data Exchange/Redispatch, where redispatch is a tool used by grid operators for congestion management.
Subject description
DA/RE is a centralized, cloud-based IT platform used throughout Germany that facilitates coordination and communication between grid and plant operators across all voltage levels. The platform automatically selects the most cost-efficient generation facility across voltage levels-taking grid technical effectiveness into account-to resolve a grid congestion. In this way, DA/RE provides transparency regarding flexibility potential in downstream grids, contributes to maintaining grid stability, and represents a key component of the energy transition.
