Adaptation of a calculation program for bills of quantities

Brief description
The calculation program developed by PTA, with which construction projects can be planned and calculated, is adapted to suit a new interface. In the process of requests/calls for bids, the application following our program will change and require a different input, respectively different format.
Supplement
In future, the customer will partially use different applications. Requests/calls for bids will no longer be started in SAP, but in a new supplier's portal. The data of calls for bids, generated by our program, have to be exported in a different manner. The export is subdivided into different files, obtains a different format and included values are structured differently. Furthermore, certain parameters are limited in their length, as subsequent applications are not able to process them completely.
Subject description
The calculation software is used in the area of construction measures on the existing gas pipeline network. These measures include pipe construction, civil engineering and coatings (underground pipelines). The calculation is made on the basis of existing bills of services which are partly already agreed with suppliers, otherwise tenders will be issued. The tool enables IT-supported communication between the specialist department (construction engineers) and purchasing.
