Application for monitoring real estate fund price calculations

Brief description

This application is a web-based tool for calculating unit prices for real estate, specialized, and credit funds. The application consolidates the funds' master data and transaction data relevant to fund pricing in a central location and makes it available to the business unit for maintenance and analysis. Through configuration pages, valuation values can be maintained on an object-by-object basis and applied with verification, while all changes are logged and thus remain traceable. The application provides customized interfaces for transferring relevant data to connected systems.

Supplement

The application is implemented using a multi-tier architecture. The user interface is implemented as a web/intranet application in PHP. Data storage and business logic are implemented in the Oracle RDBMS.

Subject description

DekaBank, in its capacity as custodian bank, is required by law to perform fund price controls. The daily control of the real estate fund price calculation of Deka Immo by the custodian bank is carried out using the internal KIMM application. The application contains all data relevant to the fund price calculation, enabling an independent price calculation by the custodian bank. The unit price determined by the custodian bank is subsequently reconciled with the price determined by Deka Immo. If the prices match, the fund price is released. The KIMM real estate database is at the core of the real estate fund control process.
