Automation of booking processes of an energy trading company

Brief description
Based on the booking processes already implemented for a client in Germany, the processes for an energy trading company will also be automated for a client in Austria. For this purpose, the central application for mapping business processes will be extended so that bookings are generated internally and then transferred to the ERP system. In addition to the implementation of the booking processes, the master data exchange must also be adapted so that all booking-relevant data is available.
Supplement
The master data system is an internal .NET solution with MS SQL Server connection and a BizTalk communication interface to the ERP systems in which all accounting transactions take place. Various internal systems are affected by the innovations in the booking process, so that the inter-system communication is adapted. New master data interfaces to the ERP system provide an almost constant data flow for the reconciliation of both systems. This master data provides the basis for the correct processing of booking-relevant data.
Subject description
By automating the booking processes for energy and service billing as well as partial payments, accruals, etc., the susceptibility to errors and the time required are considerably reduced. The postings are automatically transferred to the ERP system after generation. A document is generated for each booking made, which is linked to the corresponding booking both in the internal system and in the ERP system.
