Building an ETL workflow with Informatica PowerCenter in the banking environment
Brief description
The design and implementation provide a scalable data and ETL architecture for processing transaction information at different levels of granularity. A multi-level data model, incremental loading processes, and robust workflow orchestration based on Informatica PowerCenter are implemented. Processing in an Oracle database creates a high-performance and expandable database for efficient reporting and precise analysis.

As part of the project, a scalable data platform for processing and persisting bank transaction data was designed and implemented. The focus was on developing a technically sound data warehouse data model and setting up a technical infrastructure for the structured integration and transformation of large transaction volumes using Informatica PowerCenter and storing them in an Oracle database.
Subject description
The development of a scalable data platform enables the structured processing of transaction information. A central component is a data warehouse model that maps data at the transaction, daily, and monthly levels, thereby supporting different levels of analytical depth. The ETL processes are implemented with Informatica PowerCenter and ensure the extraction, validation, transformation, and efficient processing of large amounts of data via incremental loading procedures. In addition, orchestrated workflow control with clearly defined dependencies, error handling, and monitoring ensures a stable and transparent end-to-end processing process that creates a reliable basis for reporting and analysis.
