Brief description
The project includes creating functional requirements and functional specifications for expanding a gas sales planning system.
Supplement
Requirements already defined by the customer are implemented in functional requirements. On this basis, the planned implementation is specified in the form of functional specifications. Expanding the system requires adaptations in MS Access and Oracle RDB
Subject description
The customer uses tried-and-tested individual software to plan sales of gas sales contracts. However, the planning process is such that while an active planning calculation is being performed, no master data maintenance can be performed for the contracts since there is a risk of affecting the calculation results. Due to an increasing number of contracts and changes to the master data for existing contracts, recurring monthly interruption of master data maintenance is no longer acceptable. The objective of the project is to separate master data maintenance from the actual planning process.
