Decommissioning of Clarify-based legacy CRM systems
Brief description
The project includes the archiving and decommissioning of outdated CRM-systems in the EMEA-region and the migration of the database content into a long-time archive. Data preparations in the source database as well as the data transfer into the archive and the tests of archived data are part of this project.
Supplement
The data in the source have to be cecked and prepared before the archival. All activities have to be coordinated including responsible persons in the different countries. After the data have been transferred to test archive system, pre-defined tests have to be performed. These tests must fit to quality guidelines of the customer. A documentation which includes an overview over the whole decommissioning process is created, This presentation is discussed with the responsible Team of the countries as start Point of archiving process.
Subject description
The CRM-databases have to be checked for corrupted data and data connections. The archive team (another contractor) gets informations about these findings as a basis for the amount of data to be archived. Additional views have to be provided for future data checks in the archive. The migration into long-term-archive is the first step of the whole CRM-retirement/decom process.
