The Effects research portal gives equity fund and portfolio managers worldwide access to the latest risk and financial information on shares and bond loans. The application focuses on management of both "real" and "simulated" portfolios. Various notification and reporting functions are provided for the distribution or forwarding of risk assessments of bond loans and shares.
Supplement
As well as providing research information on traditional assets such as shares, the application also supports the users (portfolio managers, research analysts) in creating and managing portfolios. For example, when creating portfolios of this kind in areas covered by Islamic law (Sharia = religious Islamic law), the relevant legal and cultural aspects are taken into account.
Subject description
The assessment of opportunities / risks when acquiring shares or bonds takes into account many factors. This means taking into account financial key figures such as turnover, sector, number of employees, and cash flow, as well as historical experience and ratings assigned by other rating agencies. The program supports the portfolio manager by providing a lot of this relevant data in a clear format. This allows managers to dispense their expertise worldwide, maximizing the yield. With many inbound and outbound interfaces, the expertise gained can be used to make direct changes to model portfolios.
