Electronic cartage note

Brief description
IT-supported creation of a cartage note for sending piece goods using the shipment data of a volume scanner and further data copied from an ERP system.
Supplement
Design and implementation of a Windows application for creation of electronic cartage notes. The application copies data from a volume scanner that is provided via FTP, and enriches this with transmission and customer information from an ERP system. Cartage notes are printed for shipping using this data stock and can be printed again, if necessary. Processing functions are also implemented. The data is saved in MS SQL Server.
Subject description
On a daily basis, the customer sends small numbers of electronic devices that are delivered to the shipping company by courier or forwarding agent. A cartage note is created for shipping per journey and vehicle. The cartage note is a goods accompanying document for collective freight loads that includes the information on the number, size and weight of shipments, as well as the recipient, sender and forwarding company.
