Endur support in energy trading

Project duration: 1 year

Brief description

Participation in various support activities and projects in the entire Endur environment at an energy trading company. These activities include new and further development, bugfixing and testing. Endur is an energy trading and risk management system used by leading energy companies. Endur and all connected systems (e.g. SAP, reporting databases and other external trading systems) are taken into account.

Supplement

Support includes the following activities: New developments, troubleshooting and adjustments to AVS/JVS scripts and tasks (reports and booking scripts), troubleshooting and correction together with the users (partly also in the connected databases), collaboration on various projects in the Endur environment, in particular the conversion of the scripts from AVS to JVS. Within the scope of the operative activities, the review of the end-of-day processes as well as the dispatcher function for the entire 2nd level support team is also taken over.

Subject description

The primary task is to ensure the operational operation of the trading system and its connected satellite applications. This includes the support of the end-of-day processes in early shift as well as the reporting for risk management (development of user defined simulation results UDRs, value-at-risk calculations). Additional tasks are the extension of already implemented interfaces to existing applications, e.g. a reporting database developed by the customer. Another operational activity is the execution of the dispatcher function within the team, in which incoming tickets are forwarded from the internal service desk to the respective experts in order to ensure fast processing. In addition, the departments are supported in making changes to the implemented scripts and processes.
