Energy master data applications: Implementation
Project duration: 1 year, 5 months
Brief description
Project support for the second phase of the implementation of a central master data management system in energy sector. The introduction of business logic to the system is based on the preceding analysis phase and the resulting data model (see project 1521, energy master data-application conception). Business rules defined during the analysis phase are integrated into the system.
Supplement
The energy supplier's central system manages all the data for handling their business; in other words, the central system stores and processes customer and supplier data, with all contractual relations, as well as the basic data for supplying energy. The energy supplier uses standard supply models, such as provision and network access.
Subject description
The energy supplier also trades in electricity on the stock exchange. Certain processing and evaluation tasks are outsourced to other systems and retrieve all their data from the central (leading) system. 4 weeks after the go-live in Germany, the application is rolled out in Austria.
