Evaluation of AI-powered testing tools

For a selection of AI-powered testing tools available on the market, this study examines how their AI integration supports the core tasks of the quality assurance process. The selected tools cover various areas of test case creation, execution, and evaluation, as well as test management and test automation. For each tool, exemplary application/project scenarios are used to evaluate them from various perspectives and to analyze their AI capabilities, as well as their general usability and potential areas of application or limitations. In this process, functional aspects-such as the ability to automatically generate test cases from requirements, self-healing mechanisms during test execution, and context-aware debugging-were considered, as were non-functional aspects, including integration capabilities within system landscapes, security and data protection certifications, and user-friendliness.
