Brief description

In an internationally-operating retail company, further specific functions are continuously added to the central application for planning, controlling and subsequent review of promotions and for the rollout to other national companies. Test management and carrying out the tests are taken over alongside the business analysis and implementation of the new functions.

Supplement

In close cooperation with the client, an agile procedure is used to analyze the functionalities of the planning tool required during the promotion planning process, formulate them in requirement specifications and then implement them. Test cases are written and carried out on the basis of these specifications. The application system is delivered in regular releases so the tests are becoming increasingly automated.

Subject description

The application supports the department in all phases of the sales promotion. In particular, functions for campaign planning, sales promotion planning, sales promotion controlling, and subsequent analysis of completed sales campaigns are made available. This includes the provision of various reports for the department and the company management.
