Extension of a deletion concept for a raw material system
Brief description
The existing concept for implementing the GDPR will be expanded to include technical aspects in order to create the possibility of deleting data beyond customer-related data. Specific rules must be developed for each of the customer's business areas in order to be able to determine the last business relationships and delete time-barred data.
Supplement
The deletion process is controlled, documented and authorized by workflows. In addition, related data is defined that can also be removed in the event of a deletion. The application is implemented using Java and Spring components. An Oracle database is used for data storage.
Subject description
The annual data deletion is carried out by a team from the specialist department, whereby each step of the deletion process is specified by a workflow and must be confirmed. This ensures traceability and transparency of the entire deletion process. To make the deletion process even more transparent, the last business relationships are determined and displayed for each business area.
