Brief description

The goal of the project was to improve the IT support of the processing pipeline of energy trade deals. The so called Deal Flow encompasses multiple systems that exchange data over various interfaces with expectations of high availability and low latency. With the complexity of the ecosystem it is often unclear which particular component is responsible for the delay in the processing. PTA led the establishment of a cross-domain team, which facilitated analysis of the root cause, proposing the solution and monitoring their implementation and finally documenting it in the knowledge base. In addition, within scope of the project, a monitoring tool was designed and developed to monitor the entire end-to-end data flow and enable quick troubleshooting of individual records.

Supplement

PTA have provided an experienced software architect to ensure process quality and communication for the production cases. Within the scope of the activities, a tool was developed and introduced to help analysing process logs to troubleshoot the error cases and monitor performance.

Subject description

PTA participates in the day-to-day communication between the customer and their software provider to assure correct and urgent handling of the production problems.
