Findings layout creation for laboratory information system

Brief description
Support for cross discipline team. The department is responsible for issuing paper versions of the findings from the in-house laboratory information system (LIS). The LIS is installed in the customer's system landscape and it is maintained remotely. Various in-house software components are involved in creating the findings report and these are adjusted individually to the customer. Tasks include maintaining the findings printout, first level support, adapting the configuration, creating quotations and carrying out projects.

The print output process is divided into the following stages: Provision of the data by the LIS in the form of XML files; transformation of the XML files by means of XML / XSLT and FOP into PDF files; output of the PDF files to corresponding media (printer, database, screen display).
