FSE for Workflow and IT
Brief description
Assignment as Field Service Engineer (FSE) for the implementation of laboratory software. Support for the Germany-wide rollout of a laboratory information system for workflow control and replacement of a legacy system.
Supplement
Installation of all necessary software, host and device configuration of the laboratory software according to customer requirements. Creation of workflows for different automation levels with different hardware setups. Using various simulation tools, the configured system is tested and the customer is supported after the implementation.
Subject description
The laboratory system is used in many laboratories in Germany as middleware between the actual LIS (from various suppliers) and a transport and sample distribution system and the devices connected to it. By configuring the messages between the systems, a specific system of sample distribution and processing can be created in coordination with the customer, the goals of which can be of different nature, such as the lowest possible turnaround times or high redundancy.
