Further development of applications of a service provider in the health system

Brief description
The objective of the customer is to push ahead with automation of the business processes so that the efficiency of the company can be increased and errors minimized in the operative sequence; Microsoft technologies (C#, SQL Server, Team Foundation Server) are used for implementation. As members of one of many developer teams, the PTA employees work on the automated processing of master data (doctors, insured policyholders) as well as on the new and ongoing development of technical applications.
Supplement
In addition to the new and further development, quality assurance of existing products is a significant task. For this purpose, the systems must be restructured or newly developed with regard to testability. A high test coverage is aimed at through unit and acceptance test. The target status is regular automated implementation of all tests by nightly builds through to continuous integration.
Subject description
The entire process from registering the insured policyholder through to external data exchange and quarterly matching of lists of insured policyholders between the health insurance funds, service providers and doctors as well as internal communication between the systems of the specialist departments involved is represented in IT technology in a traceable way.
